ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE FOR THE WEEK OF AUGUST 5 THROUGH AUGUST 11 GENERAL ROAD CONSTRUCTION: 1 - 20th Street East northbound directional closure from Avenue M to Avenue L Daytime northbound directional lane closure of 20th Street East for guardrail replacement. 2- Avenue P from 30th Street East to 50th Street East Intermittent street and lane closures for Los Angeles County Public Works for milling and paving of Avenue P from July 30 through Aug. 8. Expect delays and detours. 3 - Avenue R and 40th Street East Intermittent lane closures for street and shoulder work. 4 - Elizabeth Lake Road at 25th Street West Intermittent lane closures with the traffic signal being in flashing red for waterline installation. Expect delays. 5 - Pearblossom Highway from Fort Tejon Road to 25th Street East Intermittent lane closures for street maintenance work. Please use alternate route if possible to avoid major delays. 6- 9th Street East from Avenue Q-11 to Avenue Q-12 and Avenue Q-12 from 10th Street East to 9th Street East Intermittent lane closures for street work. 7 - Eastbound Technology Drive from 5th Street West to the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway overpass and Carriage Way from Auto Vista Drive to Technology Drive Intermittent lane and shoulder closures for landscape construction. 8 - Rancho Vista Boulevard (Avenue P) at the State Route 14 Antelope Valley Freeway bridge from 10th Street West to Country Club Lane Intermittent lane closures for potholing, conduit installation and repairs.
