LA Homeless Outreach Portal, LAHOP, helping homeless residents receive services & outreach. Here

Lancaster Sheriff's Station was happy to have Heather from Valley Oasis share information regarding LAHOP with our resident's at Coffee with a Deputy. The LA Homeless Outreach Portal, or LAHOP is a County-wide, web-based portal designed by the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) in close collaboration with the Los Angeles County Health Agency and the LA County Homeless Initiative. It is a webpage that allows local residents to give a description of a homeless person that may be in need of service, the area they frequent and what times of the day. This allows the LAHOP team to provide homeless outreach in hopes of getting people services.

LAHOP does a lot! But they do NOT fight crime or handle any crime related issues, that's for us to do. If a crime is occurring, contact Lancaster Station at (661) 948-8466.

The process of working to get people off the streets can be a long, fluid and complex process. It often takes multiple engagement sessions to build a trusting relationship. As we go about our daily lives, we tend to travel the same routes, shop at the same stores and drive the same way to/from work. If you see a homeless person frequenting the same location, please submit a request through LAHOP. Let's work together to provide services and help to as many people as we can.

For more information or to submit an outreach request, please log on to www.lahsa.org.

Lancaster Sheriff’s Station polices the City of Lancaster, Antelope Valley College in Lancaster, and the unincorporated communities of Antelope Acres, Lake Los Angeles, and Quartz Hill in the Antelope Valley.
