The Summer Crime Enforcement Team is out there making their presence known! While deputies were patrolling in Castaic Saturday afternoon, they observed a suspicious vehicle on Hasley Canyon.

After making contact with the adult male driver, deputies learned he was doing more than transporting marijuana plants in the bed of his truck. 

The Eureka man was arrested for felony narcotics sales. 

He was found to be in possession of over 30 grams of black tar heroin and China White, along with more than $7,000 in U.S. Currency. The suspect was on his way to San Diego. Glad he stopped in SCV, so we could intercept his trip!
