SAVES Accepting New or Gently Used Winter Clothing Items & Blankets

PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale’s South Antelope Valley Emergency Services (SAVES) is currently accepting donations of new or gently used winter clothing items and blankets.

Winter clothing items include coats, sweaters, sweatshirts, hats and scarves. Blankets are needed as well. People may bring items to SAVES, located at 1002 E. Ave. Q-12 in Palmdale, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 6 pm.

In addition, the Santa Fe Gun Galeria, located at 39553 Sierra Highway, will be collecting blankets for SAVES at their store. They are open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm.

“Winter is not over yet and we still have a great need for winter clothing and blankets for our clients,” said SAVES Coordinator Patricia Morales. “Your donations will help someone in need during the cold months.”
