YMCA T-Ball Season Kicks Off with Opening Day Celebration!

LANCASTER, CA, - The Antelope Valley Family YMCA is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated Opening Day for its t-ball and coaches pitch teams, set to kick off on Sunday July 7, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the YMCA - 43001 10th Street West, Lancaster, CA 93534. This exciting event marks the beginning of a fun-filled season of sportsmanship, teamwork, and community spirit.

In collaboration with the Los Angeles Dodgers, the YMCA will provide over 70 young athletes with uniforms and gloves to enhance their love for baseball.  The event will feature the opening ceremony, food trucks, raffle prizes, and vendor booths.

"We are thrilled to launch an exciting season of T-Ball at the YMCA,” said Cynthia Lathrop, Antelope Valley Family YMCA's Executive Director. “This program not only teaches fundamental athletic skills but also emphasizes the importance of collaboration and fair play. We invite the AV community to join us for a day of fun and to support our local children as they embark on their T-Ball journey.”
