“Coffee with the Captain”

For our next episode of “Coffee with the Captain,” Captain Shaffer will be sitting down with Judy Cooperberg, from Mental Health America of Los Angeles and Sgt. Barclay from LASD Mental Evaluation Team (MET). They will be discussing the large volume of calls for service law enforcement receives regarding mental illness, the challenges our deputies face handling those calls, and how their departments assist and prepare our deputies to handle these calls.
