Two individuals were apprehended during a marijuana cultivation bust in Lake LA.

Lake Los Angeles - On the morning of April 29th, the Palmdale PAC team conducted a search warrant operation in the unincorporated area of Lake Los Angeles.

The warrant was the result of a surveillance operation and investigation regarding illegal firearms possession and marijuana cultivation.

Hundreds of marijuana plants were taken as evidence along with finished, packaged marijuana. A total of seven firearms were discovered with hundreds of rounds of ammunition. The firearms included high-capacity magazines, and one rifle was illegally modified.

Two male Hispanic adults were arrested and charged with felony possession of an assault weapon and marijuana cultivation.

Palmdale Sheriff’s Station would like to encourage citizens to report suspected illegal activity that may impact the safety of your community.
