Palmdale, CA.- On September 15, 2025, at approximately 8:00 a.m., deputies from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Rosamond Substation conducted a traffic stop near Rosamond Boulevard and Sierra Highway. The driver, identified as Bridget Ray, was on felony probation for a prior narcotics sales case.

During the probation search, deputies located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. A follow-up probation compliance search at Ray’s residence uncovered a backpack containing approximately 1,365 oxycodone pills packaged for sale, along with psilocybin mushrooms and additional methamphetamine. The estimated street value of oxycodone pills is $40,950. Deputies also found mail linking Ray to the narcotics.
Because the residence is located near a school, Ray faces enhanced charges related to drug sales in a school zone.
Ray was arrested and booked on multiple charges, including possession for sale of a controlled substance, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, and sales of a narcotic near a school.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to protecting our communities by aggressively targeting narcotics activity, especially when it threatens the safety of children and schools.
