Time to Fall Back! Daylight Saving Time Ends Sunday, November 1

ANTELOPE VALLEY, Calif. — Get ready to enjoy an extra hour of sleep! Daylight saving time officially ends on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 2:00 a.m., when clocks will move back one hour to 1:00 a.m.
Residents throughout California and most of the United States are reminded to set their clocks back one hour before going to bed Saturday night.
While smartphones, computers, and many digital devices will automatically adjust, traditional clocks, watches, and some household appliances may need to be changed manually.
The time change means brighter mornings but earlier sunsets as we transition into the winter months.
Fire safety officials also encourage residents to use the time change as a reminder to test smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
Don’t forget: Fall back one hour this Sunday! Enjoy that extra hour of sleep, Antelope Valley!
Daylight saving time will return on Sunday, March 14, 2027, when clocks move forward one hour.
