The AV Taco Festival Returns for a Flavorful Fiesta
Palmdale, CA – The City of Palmdale is calling all foodies to the Ventura Foundation’s fourth annual Antelope Valley Taco Festival in Poncitlán Square on Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Let’s taco about it! Whether you’re a taco enthusiast or simply enjoy good food and fun vibes, this event is for you.
“This festival is a wonderful celebration of Mexican American cuisine and culture,” said Mayor Austin Bishop. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to uplift our Hispanic community and spotlight talented artists and entertainers.”
Highlights of the festival include nearly 100 vendors and more than 22 food trucks offering unique and traditional creations — fish, Thai and Korean tacos will be among local favorites. Enjoy live entertainment all day, including Las Bandas Inolvidables Fierza Mexicana Lucha Libre, special performances by Aztec dancers and live music by The Sweetwater Gentleman Band, a Selena imitator, Wild Side, Tierra The Legacy Continues, Vilma Diaz y La Sonora and more. Children can enjoy the petting zoo while their parents participate in a mouth-watering taco contest. Don’t miss the spectacular Chihuahua contest!
