Suspicious package at the AV Mall parking lot.

Early this morning, before dawn, Deputies responded to a call for service regarding a suspicious package left by an unknown person in the parking lot of the Antelope Valley Mall.

Deputies responded to the Mall, located the package, and cordoned off the area. L.A. County Sheriff Arson Explosives Detail responded to the incident, and after a thorough investigation, deemed the suspicious package to be inert.
