SIERRA HIGHWAY PEARBLOSSOM HIGHWAY TO AVENUE S REHABILITATION PROJECT RESCHEDULED DATE.

Palmdale, Ca.-Los Angeles County Public Works would like to inform you that the upcoming road maintenance project in your community has been rescheduled due to unforeseeable scheduling conflicts.

The new construction dates are from September 5, 2023 to October 6, 2023. Please see the attached map for the project limits.

The work will consist of rehabilitating 2.6 miles of pavement by performing a 3” cold-in- place recycling (CIR) treatment on the existing asphalt pavement and placing 1.5” overlay cap of Polymer Modified Asphalt Concrete (PMAC).

Work will be performed by our contractor and inspected by County construction inspectors.

With the upcoming construction, please make necessary arrangements for travel. For your safety and project success, roadway access will be limited to residents and emergency vehicles with delays for the duration of the project. Please observe all traffic controls, detour routes, parking restrictions, and flaggers. Exercise caution while in the vicinity of all construction activities
