Sex Offender Compliance Operation Results in Two Arrests
Lancaster, CA.-On October 28, 2026, the Lancaster Police Department partnered with Probation’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force to conduct compliance searches at six locations in Lancaster associated with registered sex offenders on Postrelease Community Supervision (PRCS).
Investigators searched six residences, four vehicles, and multiple electronic devices, including eight cell phones, two laptop computers, and one Xbox gaming console.
A 46-year-old man was arrested for alleged violations of his supervision conditions, including residing in a home with a 10-month-old child and displaying Halloween decorations.
His supervision terms prohibit Halloween decorations because they could be used to lure children to the residence.
A 33-year-old woman was arrested for alleged violations of her supervision conditions involving unauthorized internet access and viewing pornography. An electronic detection K9 located a concealed second cell phone in the garage.
Three additional registered sex offenders were found to have minor supervision violations, which will be addressed by their assigned probation officers.
The Lancaster Police Department remains committed to protecting children and working with partner agencies to ensure registered sex offenders comply with their supervision requirements.
An arrest is not a conviction. All individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
