Palmdale, CA - A senior prank gone wrong led to a lockdown at Palmdale Aerospace Academy earlier today. The incident, tied to a social media game known as "Senior Assassin," involved students bringing water guns onto campus.

According to a statement from Superintendent Lynch Gina Lynch, the school received information from law enforcement that a student had brought a water gun to school as part of the game. Two students have been identified as participating in the activity, with a third possible student also involved.

The school has strict policies against bringing items that resemble or could be perceived as weapons onto campus. Students found to have brought such items will face disciplinary action, up to and including suspension and/or expulsion.

In the statement posted on their FaceBook Account , Lynch emphasized the importance of following school rules and making responsible decisions, noting that seemingly harmless actions can quickly escalate into serious situations.

The school is working with parents and guardians to reinforce these messages and maintain a safe environment for all students and staff.
