Santa’s helpers wear badges

Lake Los Angeles – Sunday, December 24, 2023, Lake Los Angeles Resident Deputy Giberto Borruel, Deputy Valdez and Deputy VanArsdale delivered bikes that were donated by the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station Boosters and the Los Angeles County Public Works LLA Road Yard.

Each child was surprised and thrilled to receive a bike. Kairi Lay said, “I never rode a bike! I don’t know how!” Her bike came in her favorite color purple. Borruel assured her she would be riding it within 5 minutes’ time. Deshaun Park was especially astonished and shouted from his porch, “I got a bike!”
