Palmdale, CA.- Gabriel Daniel Fernandez, an eight-year-old boy from Palmdale, , tragically passed away on May 24, 2013, after enduring months of severe abuse and torture.
The cause of his death was a brutal beating inflicted by his mother, Pearl Fernandez, and her boyfriend, Isauro Aguirre.
Pearl Sinthia Fernandez has filed court papers once again, seeking re-sentencing in connection with her guilty plea to the first-degree murder of her eight-year-old son, Gabriel. Isauro Aguirre was sentenced to death for a crime he committed. His automatic appeal to the California Supreme Court is currently pending.
The community will commemorate Gabriel Fernandez’s 21st birthday with a celebration.
