Pavement rehabilitation work on Sierra Highway from Pearblossom Highway to Avenue S

Palmdale, Ca.-Los Angeles County Department of Public Works has scheduled a pavement rehabilitation work on Sierra Highway from Pearblossom Highway  to Avenue S within the Unincorporated Palmdale area.

The work will consist of rehabilitating the roadway to improve and extend the life of the existing pavement.

The roadway is expected to be partially open and traffic will be directed by flagmen during construction.

The project is tentatively scheduled to commence August 14, 2023, and be completed by September 21, 2023. The working hours are between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Message boards will be placed to alert residents and commuters of the upcoming project and to look for alternate routes during construction.

Work will be performed by a contractor and inspected by a County construction inspector.
