The winning ticket was purchased at Alrabadi Gas & Mini Mart on East Palmdale Boulevard. The ticket matched five of the six winning numbers, missing only the Mega Ball, and included the 2X Megaplier, boosting the prize to an impressive $7,326,642.

While the ticket fell just short of the jackpot, it still turned one fortunate player into an instant multi-millionaire, making Palmdale the latest California city to celebrate a major lottery winner.
