PALMDALE, CA – Spring is in full bloom, and the City of Palmdale is ready to celebrate with its annual Children’s SpringFest and Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Palmdale Amphitheater, located at 2723 Rancho Vista Blvd.

This free community celebration offers fun for the whole family and features two separate egg hunts designed to create the perfect experience for children of all ages. Young explorers ages 0-3 can enjoy a calm, age-appropriate gathering area to search for eggs at their own pace. Children ages 4-12 will participate in a traditional egg hunt filled with excitement and adventure.

“We want every family in Palmdale to have a great spring day together in our City,” said Mayor Eric Ohlsen. “Whether you’re bringing a toddler for their first egg hunt or watching your kids hunt for eggs across the field, there’s something for everyone. We’ve designed an event to ensure every child can participate and have a blast, from those just learning to walk to those who love the excitement of the hunt. These are the days families remember.”

Families can also take pictures with the Bunny, get creative designs at the face painting station and watch balloon artists create colorful sculptures. A bubble zone offers a chance to chase and pop floating bubbles, while craft stations encourage creativity. A magic show, puppet show, story time and live music will keep everyone entertained throughout the day. There will also be a hands-on bunny encounter where guests will be able to feed, pet and pose for a photo with a fluffy spring bunny.

“Events like SpringFest are what build Palmdale’s strong neighborhoods and is now a tradition that families plan around,” said Mayor Pro Tem Austin Bishop. “When families come together, and kids play side-by-side, that’s how we build lasting memories. I’m looking forward to a great turnout.”
