Palmdale’s Kaleidoscope Fall Frenzy Wins Prestigious International Gold Award

PALMDALE, CA — The City of Palmdale’s 2025 Kaleidoscope Fall Frenzy earned a Gold Pinnacle Award from the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) for its “All the Places You Can Dream” pyrotechnic drone show. The award, the highest distinction in its category, recognizes the show as the best event within an existing festival.

The honor was announced Oct. 5 during the 71st Annual IFEA Convention & Expo in Tucson, Arizona, where festival and event professionals from around the world gathered to celebrate excellence in entertainment, creativity and community engagement.

A highlight of the 2025 Kaleidoscope Fall Frenzy, held Oct. 10-11 at the Palmdale Amphitheater, the “All the Places You Can Dream” show transformed the night sky into a spectacular display of synchronized drones, dazzling lights and pyrotechnic effects. Combining innovative technology with narration and imaginative storytelling, the performance created an unforgettable experience for festivalgoers and introduced a new level of entertainment to the Antelope Valley.

The award-winning show was part of a two-day celebration featuring live music, art, interactive activities and family-friendly entertainment. The 2025 festival also introduced new attractions, including Circus @ the Amp and a roller rink, alongside returning favorites such as the boutique pumpkin patch, live performances, artisan vendors and hands-on creative activities.

The IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards recognize exceptional achievements in festival and event programming, marketing, operations and community engagement. The international competition attracts entries from North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and beyond. Entries are evaluated based on category-specific criteria and comparable event budgets.

Palmdale’s Gold Award highlights the City’s commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality entertainment while creating memorable community experiences.
