PALMDALE, CA – The City of Palmdale is looking for entrepreneurs who want to grow their businesses by becoming a vendor at Kaleidoscope Fall Frenzy, Palmdale’s largest annual event. This year’s hallmark experience at the Palmdale Amphitheater is expected to draw thousands of attendees from across the Antelope Valley and Southern California on Friday, Oct. 16, and Saturday, Oct. 17.

“Kaleidoscope is where Palmdale really comes alive,” said Mayor Eric Ohlsen. “This event opens doors for local entrepreneurs. It’s amazing to watch every time someone sells their first batch of jam, an artist finds a lifelong customer or a teen discovers that their passion can actually turn into a business the whole community benefits from.”

The City is seeking applicants in four categories:

  • Fresh Made Market Vendors - including bakers, artisans and farmers market staples who create handcrafted culinary, home and body products.

  • Vendors - sell handmade or personally designed items, such as jewelry, pottery, macrame, decor, children’s toys and seasonal items. This can also include commercial and re-sale goods.

  • Junior Vendors - aged 17 and younger may apply to participate at a reduced rate to showcase their entrepreneurial spirit alongside seasoned sellers.

“As a small business owner, I know how difficult it is to get your product in front of new customers,” said Mayor Pro Tem Austin Bishop. “Kaleidoscope removes that barrier by putting vendors in front of thousands of people over two days and places the City’s full effort behind them. This is a real opportunity, and I encourage local businesses and vendors to participate.”
