Palmdale Man Arrested in Child Sexual Abuse Material Investigation

PALMDALE, Calif. — A 25-year-old Palmdale man was arrested Wednesday, Sept. 16, in connection with an investigation involving child sexual abuse material (CSAM), according to the Lancaster Police
Department.
Authorities said the suspect was arrested on alleged violations of California Penal Code §§ 311.1(a) and 311.11(a), involving the possession or control of child sexual abuse material.
Investigators also served a search warrant and collected evidence for further examination. The investigation remains ongoing.
The operation involved the Lancaster Police Department and state and federal law enforcement partners, including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Secret Service and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s Office of Correctional Safety.
The Lancaster Police Department said it remains committed to protecting children and investigating individuals suspected of exploiting them.
The charges are allegations, and the suspect is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
