Over 200 LLA enjoyed MOVIE NIGHT

Lake Los Angeles – Stephen Sorensen Community Regional Park - The first movie night of the 2026 season, drew over 200 LLA residents. There were 200 goodie bags and hot dogs, etc., passed out and they went like hot cakes before everyone had arrived at the park.

The movie shown was Lilo & Stitch. As described by Disney fans, Lilo, a lonely Hawaiian girl, who adopts Stitch, a mischievous alien experiment posing as a dog. As chaos follows, they form an unlikely bond that transforms them both, exploring themes of ‘ohana’ (family), belonging, and acceptance. Praised for its heartfelt story, humor, unique art style, and authentic cultural touches, it is regarded as one of Disney’s most charming and underrated animated films.

The next movie will be Goat showing on Friday July 24 at sundown. Goat (2026) is reviewed as an animated sports comedy set in an all-animal world, following Will, a small goat with big dreams who gets the rare chance to join the pros in roar ball—a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by larger, faster animals. Determined to prove "smalls can ball," Will aims to inspire his skeptical teammates and change the game. With vibrant animation, humor, and heart, it’s positioned as a fun, family-friendly underdog story worth watching.
