Newsom says California on track to allow fans at MLB games by opening day

California Gov. Gavin Newsom said Wednesday that he has "all the confidence in the world fans will be back safely in a lot of outdoor venues" by the time Opening Day rolls around on April 1.

“We’re working on the final details,” Newsom said Wednesday at an appearance in Long Beach. “We’ve been working very closely with Major League Baseball and others across the spectrum.”
