New Kaiser Permanente Antelope Valley Surgery Center Opens Its Doors
LANCASTER, Calif. —Kaiser Permanente Antelope Valley Surgery Center today announces the ribbon-cutting ceremony that brought together the community, healthcare professional, and distinguished guests. The grand opening of the surgery center serves as significant milestone in Kaiser Permanente’s commitment to advancing healthcare and providing exceptional outpatient surgical care to the residents of the Antelope Valley and beyond.

The symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony officially inaugurated Kaiser Permanente Antelope Valley Surgery Center, its first stand-alone surgery center in Southern California, establishing an innovative precedent for meeting the evolving needs of the communities we serve. This center aims to create a positive impact in the community, as it stands in an area of greatest need. The cutting of the ribbon symbolized not just the physical opening of the facility but also the renewal of hope and access to quality healthcare services for all; It will enhance the quality of care of a much-needed health care resource for the Antelope Valley residents.
The attendees had the opportunity to explore the surgery center through guided tours. This surgery center is over 12,500 square feet in size, enhancing Kaiser Permanente’s capability to manage a larger volume of surgeries in-house, streamlining patient care and improving outcomes. The surgery center was acquired in January of this year, with upgrades starting soon after; advanced technology and patient-centric design defines the Kaiser Permanente Antelope Valley Surgery Center. They heard from the voices of local dignitaries, healthcare professionals, and community leaders who played pivotal roles in the opening of this surgical center.
