Motorcyclist dies after colliding with vehicle in Palmdale
Palmdale, CA.-On Saturday, June 29th, 2024, at approximately 9:45 am, Palmdale Sheriff’s Station personnel responded to a vehicle versus motorcycle traffic collision on Agena Road and 70th Street West, in the City of Palmdale.
The preliminary facts of this investigation indicate at approximately 9:40 am on June 29th, 2024, a 1999 Dodge Dakota truck was driving north on Agena Road and made a left turn in front of a 2009 BMW F800GS motorcycle which was driving south on 70th Street West. The BMW motorcycle collided with the front end into the right front quarter panel of the Dodge truck.
Both drivers were the sole occupants of the vehicles.
The rider of the BMW motorcycle succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision, the driver of the Dodge Dakota truck is in stable condition.
