MOAH:CEDAR Hosts Assemblyman Tom Lackey's 34th Assembly District Student Art Competition


Lancaster, CA. January 25, 2024 — The Lancaster Museum of Art and History (MOAH) is pleased to present Assemblyman Tom Lackey’s 34th Assembly District Student Art Competition at MOAH:CEDAR on Saturday, January 27, 2024, with the award show happening from 2 to 4 p.m. Join us for a fun evening celebrating local students and their artistic endeavors. The exhibition ends on Sunday, January 28, 2024.


The theme for 2024’s exhibition is “My California”. All participants will receive a certificate from Lackey and district winners will have their artwork displayed in Lackey’s capitol office in Sacramento. The 34th district is widespread with region 1 encompassing Acton, Agua Dulce, Boron, California City, Edwards AFB, Lancaster, Leona Valley, Palmdale, and Rosamond. Region 2 will include Apple Valley, Barstow, Baker, Daggett, Fort Irwin, Helendale, Hesperia, Lucerne Valley, Oro Grande, Silver Valley, Trona Victorville, and Yermo. Region 3 will include Twentynine Palms, Yucca Valley, and Landers. Region 4 will include Big Bear, Big Bear City, Big Bear Lake, Rim of the World, Lake Arrowhead, Running Springs, and Crestline.
