Metrolink Announces Weekend Antelope Valley Line Track Closure 3/16-17, 2024

Palmdale, Ca.-On Saturday and Sunday, March 16 and 17, 2024, Metrolink will complete a maintenance and rehabilitation project along the Antelope Valley Line. This project will result in a full closure of the line during the work window.   

Please be advised, alternate transportation is not available for the Antelope Valley Line on March 16 and 17, 2024.  

Also, on Friday night, March 15, the last two trains of the Antelope Valley Service, train 235 and train 238 will be canceled. Alternate transportation will be provided for those two trains only. 

Safety is foundational at Metrolink, and we are regularly working to ensure the long-term safety and reliability of our system in the communities we serve. We apologize that these necessary infrastructure enhancements will result in the temporary closure of the rail line and the inconvenience it may cause riders. We will continue to look for ways to minimize the impact of these closures as much as possible as we continue this critical work.
