METH LAB FOUND IN PEARBLOSSOM RESIDENCE
Pearblossom, CA.- At approximately 10:30p.m. on Thursday, August 24th, 2023, Palmdale Sheriff Station received a walk-in to our lobby, requesting a call for service.
The person stated their house had been rented out in Pearblossom for a short period of time and the renters were refusing to leave.
Deputies responded to the home and attempted to contact anyone inside. While waiting for someone to answer the door, deputies looked through the front room window and saw narcotics and materials commonly used in the production of methamphetamine.
Deputies secured the location and surrounding area while LASD Narcotics Bureau responded to the residence and obtained a search warrant. Narcotics Bureau, HazMat, along with other various law enforcement entities, safely made entry into the location and identified a clandestine methamphetamine lab had been in operation. Large amounts of narcotics and several firearms were removed from the location. No one was located inside the residence.
If you suspect a residence in your area is operating a methamphetamine lab, call 9-1-1 immediately.
Meth labs are inherently dangerous and have been known to cause large, deadly explosions due to the chemicals used to operate them. In this case, the lab was torn down, narcotics and firearms were removed from the streets and the residential area was rendered safe.
Operations such as these require multiple LASD Bureaus and agencies to collaborate and work hard to keep our communities safe.
