Mental Health Commission to Hold Service Area 1 Town Hall

Lancaster, CA. -The Los Angeles County Mental Health Commission will be holding a Service Area 1 Town Hall to engage with the Service Area 1 (Antelope Valley) community and listen to their feedback about mental health services and resources available in the region. The event will also feature remarks from LACDMH Director Dr. Lisa H. Wong and members of the Mental Health Commission, as well as well-being resources from local organizations.

“We are very excited to have the Los Angeles County Mental Health Commission meet in the Antelope Valley to hear the concerns of local constituents,” said Commissioner Judy Cooperberg. “Constituent groups who will be participating include mental health service recipients, service providers, family members, law enforcement, faith-based organizations, and general community members.”

The event is free and open to the public, and lunch will be provided to the first 200 attendees.
