Lancaster, CA. July 18, 2022 – While it may feel like COVID-19 is in the past, we, unfortunately, were met with a stark reminder that COVID-19 is here and more present than ever. 

On Sunday, July 17, Mayor R. Rex Parris was hospitalized with COVID-19. While he is in good spirits, he would like to remind our community to continue to be vigilant and stay safe. We ask that his privacy be respected at this time. COVID-19 testing is still available. Located at the Lancaster Municipal Stadium, 45116 Valley Central Way, Lancaster, CA, the drive-thru testing site is open Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Insurance is required; results will be emailed within 24 to 36 hours. For more information, visit: cityoflancasterca.gov/testing.For additional testing sites, please dial 211 or visit: LA County Testing.COVID-19 vaccines are also available to Lancaster residents at local distribution sites or through healthcare providers.
