Lancaster, CA.- A Small Business Summit is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 30 at Antelope Valley College, 3041 West Ave. K, Lancaster.

The free event in the AVC Student Center is aimed to help small businesses recover, grow, and thrive by bringing together top free business resources, services, and programs.

The event will include panel discussions, a resource expo that convenes major public and private providers of free business support, on-site free services, and more.

Business owners and managers can speak to representatives from county, state, and federal government about how to qualify for contracts from public and private entities.

Business consultants and counselors will be on-site to provide assessment to help owners and managers determine which services their businesses need

Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Food trucks will be parked outside the venue.

The event is part of the LA Region Small Business Summit series organized by the County of Los Angeles, the City of Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office. Sessions have been held around Los Angeles County, including in the Los Angeles Coliseum, at California State University Los Angeles and in Sylmar.
