Local DUI Checkpoint Yields Multiple Arrests and Citations

Lancaster, CA.- This weekend, the Lancaster Police Department conducted a DUI checkpoint in Lancaster, part of their ongoing efforts to promote road safety.

The checkpoint resulted in 2 DUI arrests, 51 citations for drivers without a valid license or driving on a suspended license, 6 citations for moving violations, and 11 vehicles towed.

"We appreciate the cooperation of drivers who passed through the checkpoint," said authorities. "Their patience contributed to the smooth operation of the event."
