Legacy Commons for Active Seniors Hosts Annual Resource Fair
Palmdale, CA – Legacy Commons for Active Seniors, dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles for adults aged 55 and up, invites residents to participate in the annual Legacy Commons for Active Seniors Resource Fair on Wednesday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
“Legacy Commons is committed to ensuring that older adults have the resources they need for enriched, independent living,” said Mayor Austin Bishop. “Don’t miss this opportunity to connect, learn and discover the abundant opportunities available to seniors in Palmdale.”
During this two-hour event, attendees can look forward to a range of offerings, including valuable information about health and wellness and leisure activities, free drawings and door prizes, and resources for housing and transportation. Representatives from numerous organizations will be on-site, providing a diverse array of services tailored to seniors’ needs.
“The resource fair offers a wonderful opportunity for seniors to build connections with each other and explore new interests and activities," said Mayor Pro Tem Richard Loa. “I encourage older adults to delve into the City’s offerings, ranging from exercise classes to performing arts programs and informational seminars. There truly is something here for everyone.”
