LASD Seeks Public’s Help in Palmdale Homicide Investigation Following Deadly Shooting
PALMDALE, CA — October 26, 2026 — The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) Homicide Bureau is asking for the public’s assistance in an ongoing investigation into a fatal shooting that occurred earlier this month in Palmdale.
According to sheriff’s officials, the shooting occurred on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at approximately 4:54 p.m., near the intersection of 10th Street East and East Avenue R.
The victim, described as an adult Black male, was the sole occupant of a black 2012 Mercedes-Benz GLK 350 SUV when he was shot and killed.
Authorities have released a special bulletin featuring photographs of the victim’s vehicle in hopes that someone may recognize the SUV or provide information that could help detectives determine what happened.
Detectives Seeking Witnesses and Information
Investigators are urging anyone who may have witnessed the shooting, observed suspicious activity in the area, or has information related to the incident to contact the LASD Homicide Bureau.
