Lancaster to Host Reimagined Easter Event
Lancaster, CA. - The City of Lancaster invites community members to hop on over to celebrate the return of spring at its annual Easter event in a reimagined format, The Bunny Hop! The event will be held on April 8 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Sgt. Steve Owen Memorial Park.
The Bunny Hop is geared toward children 11 years old and under, but the event is open to all. During the spring festival, attendees will be able to enjoy free arts and crafts, music, and a bunny trail for Lancaster's little ones.
"Spring is my favorite time of year in the City of Lancaster,” said Mayor R. Rex Parris. “Our world-famous poppies are in bloom, and there are so many wonderful opportunities to connect with the community. The Bunny Hop will be a great way to celebrate the amazing families and traditions that tie our City together."
If festival-goers want to save some memories from the event, photo opportunities will be plentiful. For $2, visitors can even snap a picture with the Easter bunny! Folks can also enjoy several other attractions, including a bounce house, face painting, and food trucks.
