Lancaster, CA. -Residents of Lancaster will cast their votes in an important municipal election on April 14, 2026, determining two representatives for the City Council. The election will fill two at-large seats, each carrying a four-year term. This year’s election is being conducted entirely by mail.
All registered voters should have already received their ballots. Seven candidates are competing for the two available seats: Danielle Harper, Renage Garrison, Nicolle Blackwood, Cedric White, Cynthia Hernandez ,Rocio Castellanos, and Incumbent Raj Malhi.
The diverse slate reflects a wide range of perspectives and priorities for the growing Antelope Valley community.
Voters have until 8 p.m. on April 14, 2026, to ensure their ballots are counted. Ballots can be returned either through the U.S. Postal Service or by using one of the city’s secure drop-off locations.
