LANCASTER DUI CHECKPOINT RESULTS IN 3 ARRESTS, 13 CITATIONS

LANCASTER, Calif. — A DUI checkpoint conducted in Lancaster this past weekend resulted in three arrests for driving under the influence and 13 citations for license violations, police said.

The Lancaster Police Department said the checkpoint was part of ongoing efforts to keep local roads safe. Officers were assisted by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the California Highway Patrol.

Checkpoint Results:

3 DUI arrests

9 citations issued to drivers without a valid license

4 citations issued to drivers with suspended licenses

5 vehicles towed

The department thanked LASD and CHP for their assistance during the operation. No additional details were released about the location or time of the checkpoint.
