Lake Los Angeles to Host First Annual Desert Sunrise 5K Run/Walk
LAKE LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Lake Los Angeles residents are invited to lace up their running shoes and come together for the 1st Annual Lake Los Angeles Desert Sunrise 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 24, 2026.
Runners and walkers will begin at the SBCC Economic Building and head south for an approximately three-mile course through the Lake Los Angeles community.
The event is designed for runners, walkers, families and community groups. Early-bird registration is now available, and runners who complete the 5K will receive a finisher medal.
Organizers also plan group activities and community festivities following the run.
The event is presented by SBCC and Beyond Excellence and will feature FAT timing. Group benefits are also available.
