Lake Los Angeles, CA — A new vision is taking shape in Lake Los Angeles: a Community Learning Center designed to empower residents through education, job training, and resources. Helping Hands AV is inviting the community to share their input and ideas as they work to make this vision a reality.
The proposed Lake Los Angeles Community Learning Center aims to become a vital hub for residents of all ages. Plans include a wide range of programs such as:
Job training and career development to help residents build skills and access new opportunities
Youth programs with mentorship and enrichment activities
Health and wellness initiatives for a stronger, thriving community
Community events and partnerships to foster collaboration and local pride

When community members provide constructive ideas as their input, they will feel more invested and franchised in its success. By providing input, they enrich the opportunities for all who participate and strengthen the connection to Lake Los Angeles. Helping Hands AV is currently gathering community feedback through a survey and plan to present resident input to local elected officials and partnering organizations for support and funding.

In partnership with organizations like Salva they are able to have bi-weekly Food Distribution: to those in need in our community of Lake Los Angeles.
Community members are encouraged to participate by sharing their thoughts, ideas, and feedback ahead of the upcoming meeting.

providing vital resources and hosting community events in the Antelope Valley area.
Christmas Toy Event, Thanksgiving, they focus on delivering food with partnership with Salva, clothing, and educational programs to underserved communities, aiming to introduce self-sufficiency. Helping Hands AV has partnered with SBCC to celebrate Día de los Niños , Christmas Parade and other events for the last four years at Lake Los Angeles Marketplace, offering resources and joy to families.
