Lake LA Fall Festival 2022

Lake Los Angeles - Stephen Sorensen Community Regional Park - The 2022 Fall Festival was off to a very slow start Tuesday November 22, so slow it was looking as if it wasn't going to happen.

But it did! A wonderful group of happy people arrived, every table was occupied, and more tables and chairs were set up to accommodate the crowd, community Royalty arrived in numbers and the party got started. The gym was full, the kids were together again. It was terribly cold outside, but it was warm and comfortable in the gym.

There were many young park employees enjoying serving the crowd with turkey, lmashed potatoes, cranberry, stuffing and desserts that were truly delicious and plentiful.

The park's Tom Turkey was there to greet people again, kids played games, prizes were handed out and everyone had a great time. We saw people we had not seen in a very long time, and it was so good to see and talk to everyone again.

What a great way to start the 2022 holiday season in Lake Los Angeles.
