The Board is pleased to announce that Dr. Terry Walker, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, has agreed to serve as Acting Superintendent. Dr. Walker has more than 30 years of experience in K-12 education. Her experiences include being an assistant superintendent, a consultant with an Education Support Services Group, a leadership coach, director of educational services, assistant principal, and principal at the elementary and secondary levels, and as an elementary and secondary classroom teacher. In addition, she has been an adjunct professor in educational leadership for graduate school courses as well as teacher education courses for preservice teachers with California State University, San Bernardino.Throughout her time here in Keppel Union School District, she has demonstrated integrity and honesty in addressing a host of academic and administrative matters as the Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services and Human Resources. Additionally, she has taken the initiative to address and resolve difficult situations. We are confident that Dr. Walker possesses the experience, dedication and passion to lead the District during this time.  The Board’s priority now will be working to determine the District’s new permanent superintendent.
