Join PWD Director Kellerman for Coffee Feb. 15th

Palmdale, CA – Palmdale Water District (PWD) customers are invited to join Board Director Scott Kellerman for a FREE cup of coffee from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Starbucks, 1763 Palmdale Blvd., Palmdale.

Director Kellerman, the newest member of the Board, will hold his first Coffee with a PWD Director to meet constituents and answer water-related questions.  PWD coffee events give customers the opportunity to get to know their representatives in a casual environment.  Attendees will get their first Starbucks drink free and receive a PWD coffee mug.

“I am looking forward to my first coffee event and meeting the ratepayers,” said Director Kellerman, who represents Division 1.  “This will be a great way to have one-on-one conversations about water.”

Director Kellerman was appointed by the Board last April to fill a vacant seat for half of a full term.  He maintained his seat after no one challenged him in the November election.  His current two-year term will end in December 2024.

Part owner of Antelope Valley Harley-Davidson, he has been on the Antelope Valley Sheriff's Boosters for more than 15 years and is the current President of the California Harley-Davidson Dealers Association.

Division 1 is an area that roughly borders Avenue P to the north, Avenue R to the south,

35th Street to the east, and Highway 14 to the west.  It also includes the area bordered by

Avenue O-12, Avenue N, 10th Street West and 20thStreet West.

Since 1918, the Palmdale Water District has provided high-quality water at a reasonable cost.  We pride ourselves on providing great customer care; advocating for local water issues that help our residents; educating the community on water-use efficiency; and leading our region in researching and implementing emerging technologies that increase operational efficiency.  For more information about PWD, visit www.palmdalewater.org.
