Jesse Cupido and Isabel Cortez arrested for the murder of Henry Gonzalez.

Lancaster, CA.-On Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at approximately 2:57 P.M., the Los Angeles Communications Center broadcast a call of a traffic collision with a motorcycle rider down on the Northbound SR-14 to Avenue L off-ramp in the city of Lancaster.

CHP Antelope Valley Area officers responded to the scene and upon arrival, were advised the motorcycle rider had been shot. The victim, Henry Gonzalez, (male, Hispanic adult) 37 years of age, was pronounced deceased on-scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.

On Friday, July 7, 2023, at approximately 3:00 P.M., detectives from the CHP Southern Division Major Crimes Unit arrested Jesse Cupido and Isabel Cortez in Sun Valley for the murder of Henry Gonzalez.
