Illegal street racing operation, leads to multiple citations in Palmdale

Palmdale Traffic Deputies recently conducted an illegal street racing operation, aimed at curbing street racing; reckless driving, exhibitions of speed, burnouts and drifting.

Within 3 hours:

32 citations were issued

4 people cited for suspended/unlicensed driver

3 citations for reckless driving

8 vehicles were impounded

10 vehicles cited for equipment violations

Aside from being illegal, these activities are dangerous and have resulted in the deaths of Palmdale residents.

Participate in street racing or drive reckless= driver citation & 30 Day Impound. $$$
