Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration at the Palmdale Playhouse
PALMDALE –The Music Center and City of Palmdale present an evening celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month at the Palmdale Playhouse on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 6 pm. The event will feature INCA, The Peruvian Ensemble, a stunning and vibrant showcase of music and dance from Peru and the Andean region.
INCA offers a performance that incorporates a rich blend of traditional styles of Andean, Criollo, and Afro-Peruvian. Playing rare and authentic instruments, the musicians and dancers carry the audience back to the lost empire of the Incas. The musical numbers are conducted in both English and Spanish so everyone can enjoy the magic.
This event will include arts and crafts activities, a coloring wall by KIDpreneneur, Fabian Hustles, delicious treats for purchase by Refi Snacks and rock painting by You Are Enough Foundation from 6 to 7 pm.
As part of Palmdale’s continuing efforts to offer the community both entertaining and educational experiences through live performances, Palmdale Playhouse is hosting this special celebration in conjunction with The Music Center’s Arts Grown LA. The event and activities are free, but reservations are required at www.PalmdalePlayhouse.com.
Arts Grown LA, a TMC Arts program, builds on The Music Center’s highly successful partnerships with community groups and local artists to offer free, family-friendly performances and artmaking experiences for all ages.
