Free Summer Meals Around The Antelope Valley.
Palmdale, Calif.- Children and youth ages 18 and under receive nutritious lunch and snack that include vegetables, fruits, seeds and healthy dairy products like milk, string cheese and yogurt, at 47 LA County Parks and 15 LA County Libraries.
June 12 thru August 4No Lunch and snack on June 19 and July 4
County Parks and County Libraries will serve lunch from 12 to 1PM.County Parks will serve snacks from 3 to 4 p.m.
Youth meals will be available for dine in only at enclosed designated areas. Lunch and snack will be provided to youth participants only.
Created to help reduce the growing percentage of young people in the United States challenged by obesity or lack of consistent access to wholesome meals, the program aims to provide a healthy alternative for students when school is out for the summer. In order for participating parks to qualify for the program, they must service areas within the geographical boundaries of elementary, middle, or high school attendance areas with at least 50% of its students eligible for free or reduced-price school meals.

Palmdale School District Free Sunner Meals
JUNE 5, 2023 - JULY21, 2023
No meals will be served on weekends, June 19, nor July 4. Per USDA and CDE regulations, meals must be consumed on-site and children must be present- the district is not able to grant any exceptions.
The cafeterias at these schools will have indoor seating available.
