Free disposal events are scheduled in June at Los Angeles County Public Works road yards.

Palmdale, CA.- Free disposal events are scheduled in June at Los Angeles County Public Works road yards in Quartz Hill, Littlerock and Lake Los Angeles for unincorporated county residents.

The events will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1 at the county road yard at 4859 West Ave. L-12 in Quartz Hill; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8 at the county  road yard at 8505 East Ave. T in Littlerock, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 29 at the county road yard at 17341 East Ave. J in Lake Los Angeles.

Residents of unincorporated areas can dispose of green waste, trash and bulky items like furniture.

The events will not accept electronics, business waste, hazardous materials like used motor oil and paint, tires and demolition debris.

THESE EVENTS ARE ONLY FOR RESIDENTS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY UNINCORPORATED AREAS. The events are not open to residents who live inside the city limits of Lancaster and Palmdale, or who live in Kern County.
