Foster Youth Awareness Month - 2nd Annual AV Unity for Youth Party

In Los Angeles County this year alone, 21,589 children were placed in foster homes, group homes, short term residential treatment facilities and other out of home placements. It is important for foster youth to be connected with caring community members and other foster youth and adults especially in the Antelope Valley where the highest foster youth population resides. In raising awareness of Foster Care Awareness month, we need your help. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to fund our May foster care outreach and empowerment project.

Guest speaker Charity Chandler-Cole (CEO of CASA of Los Angeles - Court Appointed Special Advocates) will be speaking about the importance of Foster Care Awareness Month.
