PALMDALE, CA – The City of Palmdale will host its Fifth Annual Women’s Symposium on Saturday, March 21, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Legacy Commons, located at 930 E. Ave. Q-9. Since its debut in 2022, the symposium has become a signature event of Women’s History Month in the Antelope Valley, drawing participants from across the region.

“For five years, this symposium has brought women together to hear inspiring speakers, participate in meaningful workshops and, most importantly, help lift each other up,” said Mayor Eric Ohlsen. “Palmdale grows stronger when its residents are supported, connected and given room to lead. I’m proud that our City helps contribute to this effort by highlighting the women who are doing remarkable work in this community.”

This year’s theme, “Leading the Charge,” highlights resilience, leadership, community and allyship through a lineup of free workshops, panels and keynote presentations designed to inspire action and drive sustainable progress in Palmdale.

“The Women’s Symposium is a consistent, high-quality resource for all Palmdale residents,” said Mayor Pro Tem Austin Bishop. Every year, our community shows up ready to learn, connect and lead. The workshops and panels deliver practical skills and community connections that contribute directly to civic engagement and local workforce development.”
